Landlord Tenant Agreement

Non Disclosure Agreement between Tenant and Landlord?

If I give my pay stub, social security number, and other details to my landlord while signing a landlord tenant lease, should I sign a Non-Disclosure agreement (NDA)? The NDA basically states that they cannot disclose any of the details that I have given him.Is that legally binding or do I need something more?

I suppose you could. I have never been asked to sign one, I doubt I would as I would be suspicious of such an odd request. This is not a standard thing that most landlords require, but as a concerned tenant it isn’t a bad idea. I would like to know that my details aren’t being passed about in my landlord tenant agreement, since it is obviously very private.

Good idea in fact, I will pass it on to my group – thanks!
